Welcome to CoE 197U!
This semester, the class will be following a blended learning mode:
- There will be face-to-face lecture classes at least once a week.
- All material will be made available via this site.
- Submissions of assignments, etc will be through UVLe
- We also encourage discussion through our class piazza
- There may also be remote discussion via zoom, as agreed with the instructor.
- There will be more emphasis on student-centric activities, e.g. analysis, design, and simulations. Thus, you will be mostly "learning by doing". In this context, lab classes will be done face-to-face.

Grading
Your grade will be computed as follows:
- 60% Lab (lab exercises, project)
- 40% Lec (assignment, long exam)
